Shruti Shah

Shruti Shah is a General Partner at Symphonic Capital, an early-stage venture firm investing in solutions that improve life for the 99%. A founder turned investor, she brings an operator’s rigor and a systems builder’s lens to backing companies across health, wealth, and climate resilience.

Shruti co-founded Move Loot, a YC-backed marketplace for secondhand furniture, where she served as COO. She helped scale the company nationally, grew the team to 300+, and raised $22M in venture capital—advancing a mission centered on reuse, affordability, and climate impact. Her work reflects a long-standing commitment to building businesses that deliver sustainability at scale.

Before joining Symphonic, Shruti served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Nike, helping shape the company’s resale and sustainability strategy, and as an EIR at Silicon Valley Bank, where she advised early-stage founders through critical moments of growth. As a fractional COO, she has supported startups through strategic planning, fundraising readiness, and operational scaling.

Shruti joined Symphonic as a Venture Partner in 2022, became Partner in 2024, and General Partner in 2025. At the firm, she has helped deepen and expand Symphonic’s thesis—ensuring climate is treated not as a silo, but as a systemic force shaping household stability, health access, and financial inclusion.

Today, Shruti is co-leading Symphonic’s strategy, backing tech-forward, AI-enabled companies serving underserved communities at scale. She and Founder & GP Sydney Thomas lead Symphonic as peers and co-architects—combining founder empathy, operational credibility, and conviction-driven investing to build enduring institutions.
